Shipping Labels Won't Print w/o Phone #?

My warehouse is suddenly telling me that any shipping addresses w/o phone numbers are failing to print EPL labels. This was never an issue before. Can anyone shed any light on this? We've never entered phone #s in our address sublists--it will be problematic at best to populate those fields now.

Please help!
