Entity Search

Hello

Our Administrator Role can perform a search (first name only - not surname!) by typing into an Entity field e.g. Vendor on the New Bill Entry Form.

Our CFO role cannot perform a search in the same field by typing into it, the field presents the list of Vendors in drop down but it cannot be typed into.

What would be causing the difference in this operation ?
