This one is new: System contention too high

Looks like NetSuite's infrastructure and load balancing might be a bit strained.  I'm trying to edit a custom field and I'm getting the following error:

System contention too high to complete operation. Please try again during off-peak hours.



Anyone else experiencing this?  I'm on an Australian account, if that makes any difference.
