Deleting the SalesTeam in a Customer

Hello,

Im trying to delete the lines of the "salesteam", in a customer. Im using the nlapiRemoveLineItem('salesteam', i);

My goal is....delete the lines, and after add the line I need...ok?

but Im getting the "message":You have attempted an invalid sublist or line item operation. You are either trying to cannot access a field on a non-existent line or you are trying to add or remove lines from a static sublist.

what am I doing wrong? How can I delete this lines?
