Users employee currency not followed where permission over multiple subsidiaries.
We use one world and operate in several countries and thus subsidiaries.
As our UK & US sales reps need to be able to create/edit records in both our UK and US subsidiaries their roles have permission over both our UK and US subsidiaries.
The ramification is that all reporting then reflects in sterling, fine for our UK users but not our US users who see reporting in Sterling rather than Dollars (our US sales rep’s default subsidiary and currency settings are Dollars and our US subsidiary has a base currency of Dollars).
I’ve been told this behaviour is a defect since employee settings should supersede/override visibility resulting from role level permissions.
