Importing transfers between accounts

We buy a lot of foreign currency - and maintain accounts in EUR, CHF & USD in addition to our day to day GBP one.

We buy the currency from HSBC and they transfer it across our accounts automatically. This was reflected in our last system by a journal.

We're trying to import loads of old transfers (GBP > EUR, etc), but it appears that you can't import transfers - is this true??
