Unexpected Error on Customer Search

Any time I try to do a search on Customers, I get an unexpected error.  It happens in the regular UI and when searching via SuiteScript.  I've seen this before when there was a bug in a formula column, but that's not the case here.

It fails to search with just the standard column result set (no custom fields/formulas).  The only time it works is if I remove all search criteria filters and all result columns - then it will correctly show me just a list of internal IDs.  But if I add in any single result column, it again fails.
