nlapiGetFieldValue() returns ""

We have several scripts that use nlapiGetFieldValue() to get the values of the shipping address on an SO. 

Since our upgrade to 2014.1 over the weekend, nlapiGetFieldValue('shipstate') and nlapiGetFieldValue('shipcountry') have been returning "" when the fields are clearly populated.

Anyone else having similar issues?
