Cannot check out

We were upgraded over the weekend to 2014.2 and have really noticed a difference. It is very slow and the text is rather big.
Now our website is loading very slowly and customers are having trouble checking out. When they check "proceeds to checkout" it just hangs and then we get redirected to a NetSuite pages that states "the page you are looking for cannot be found". We use basic checkout. Anyone else having problems with speed and checkout ?
