Aside from the 5-second connection time-out and 45-second response time-out limits set by NetSuite, is there a limit to the total number of concurrent requests or requests per second?

Within our SuiteScript the function returns the following error: "The host you are trying to connect to is not responding." However, our host indicates that the connection request is never received. NOTE: This is only one failure among hundreds of successful connections. And when attempting to connect again using the same variables and data, it is successful (that is: it's a valid request).
