Fulfillment is created with no item and not related to the original sales order

Hi there,

In the last two weeks we have noticed that if we fulfill a sales order that is showing backordered, it will create an item fulfillment and confirm that it was successfully saved; however, the fulfillment does not show any link to the order, does not have an item and the order still shows needing to be fulfilled. Before then, any orders that were backordered would give a pop up error saying it was out of stock and could not be saved. We double checked our settings and we have not enabled fulfillments to be created ignoring backorders and it still
