Multi-Location Inventory: Inventory Distribution does not distribute all items
I just turned on the Multi-Location Inventory feature. As instructed, I then proceeded to perform my inventory distribution. Prior to that distribution, all parts had no location. NetSuite's help guide states that all items that meet the following criteria will appear on the list or items on that inventory distribution:
The item has not already been distributed.
The distribution is dated after the last inventory-affecting transactions.
The item has a non-zero quantity on hand.
It is an inventory item or assembly item.
The item is active
Yet not all of the items that meet those criteria appear on the list meaning that I have had to tell my staff not to enter any transactions that affect inventory. This means that we have essentially shut down our accounting.
