Issues with making a copy of a sales order

Anyone experiencing issues while making a copy of an existing sales order? We split orders daily and normally just click make copy and remove the items from the duplicated sales order as they will be shipping separately. Upon trying this yesterday and today, we are experiencing intermittent issues. The main issue is that NS is locking the screen so a user cannot remove an item from the sales order. We tried on one particular SO about 4 or 5 times, and on the last attempt it allowed us to finally make the changes we needed. Anyone else experiencing something similar?
