Custom Checkbox Field Won't Merge

Hi!

I have several custom fields on my customer records.  Some are checkboxes, some are date fields and others.  I noticed that when I merge one customer record into another, the information in the custom date fields will merge but the custom checkboxes will not.  I've been through SuiteAnswers and the forums here but I haven't seen anything that pertains to this particular issue.

Any thoughts?
