Updated credit cards after sandbox Pre-upgrade maintenance for 2018.2

A few days after sandbox Pre-upgrade maintenance for 2018.2 we figured out that all credit cards on the sandbox were reset to ************1117. Has somebody seen such behavior? Is it any kind of anonimization process which NetSuite does to data during migration\move?
