Importing Sales Orders

I have had problems getting an exact answer on how to import sales orders.  We are a B2B company that has trade shows.  At these shows, we take orders using a scanning device that goes into another system.  We want to import these orders into our system once the show is done. 

Any ideas on where to start or can somebody at least steer me in the right direction.  I tried to call Netsuite but that are very quick to start suggesting "customization" and "work order" which cost more than we are willing to spend.
