Importing CSV is poorly documented

I can't get anything to import. Documentation is ambiguous on the website and inside the CSV templates. My problems are probably all user errors, but there is no way to decipher.

Tried calling support by phone. My search engine isn't powerful enough to locate the phone number on the netsuite site.

Never had these problems with Salesforce.com.
