Data migration of millions of rows of data

Hello,

  I am working on a data migration project from multiple legacy systems into "NetSuite".  Some of the destination tables in "NetSuite" will need several million rows of data migrated into them, some of the tables are "Custom tables" and some of them are "NS" tables like "Contact".  What is the best practice for migrating millions of rows of data into "NS" tables?
