Withholding Adjustment
Our state allows a discount for timely payment of payroll withholding taxes. They do the same for sales tax payments. Netsuite has an adjustment account that can be used for this purpose in sales tax payments, but not in payroll withholding tax payments.
If I just take discount, the balance just carries over and shows my payroll liability higher than it should be. I've tried general journal entries to adjust it and it works in the general ledger, but it reflects a different balance when I go to pay next months withholding tax.
Is there a way I can make such an adjustment?
