Password update from Customer Center

Hi,

we created a customer user event script that verify if the password has changed and save this new value in another custom field. This works fine for lead registration and when we edit a record on backend and change lead or customer password.

The problem arrives when a customer changes his password on website's customer center, the script never trigger on record's edit event.

Is there a way to avoid this problem? This happens with 2007 release?
