Restricting partners by location
We have created different locations in our Netsuite instance. For each location we have partner records, i.e. on each partner, we mark the location it is attached to.
When we have custom roles restricting information to user's location, the information is really not restricted. Maily because customer record does not have a bulit-in location field, we have added a custom field to customer form. If we mark all the customers and transactions with sales reps, we are able to hide them from other locations. This is because of sales reps attached to the record, and not because of locations.
