Creating a Calculated Duration Field

I'm trying to create a field that will calculate the duration between a pick up time {custrecord11} and a drop off time {custrecord12}.  Does anyone know the formula I can use to create this new field?  I tried going in to look at NetSuite's duration field used in the time tracking forms, but it's all hidden.  Any help would be great!
