Contacts on custom record not showing up on Fax message form
I've got a contacts list on a custom record (had to create the list of course because for some reason NetSuite didn't add 'Contacts' as an option to custom records but mail merge, attachments, notes, etc are)
Anyways, when sending a fax the contact list doesn't display my contacts. I'm not terribly surprised by this but would like to know if there is a workaround anyone has found.
The TERRIBLE workaround that I use is to copy and paste the fax number into the number field. I MUST choose a contact from the drop down and the only one that is displayed is the owner (me). So when you see the list of messages it looks like they were all sent to me even though they weren't.
