Best way to set the default value of an existing Netsuite field
Hi
We currently upload lead data through the XML upload facility. This process works well, except when a duplicate occurs, the lead status (entitystatus) gets overwritten by the default in the XML file. Unless the sales person notices this, the lead could end up at the beginning of the sales process.
If the lead status isn't specified, Netsuite defaults it to CLIENT-Closed Won.
Question: What is the best way to default entitystatus to LEAD-Open? Is there a place where you can set the global default value for built in Netsuite fields?
Regards
Andrew
