Need Date() in mm/dd/yyyy format
Heya....I'm not a programmer at all, but I do manage to muddle through some simple stuff to create useful scripts for our netsuite users. Currently, I'm looking to fill in a date (format needs to be mm/dd/yyyy) when a custom button is pushed, but when I use:
nlapiSetFieldValue ('custbody_date_field', Date());
It returns a date along the lines of Wed June 4, 2008 10:35:22.
Is there a simple way to get the proper format for the current date into this field? I'm sure this has been covered somehwere and is likely very simple, but I haven't been able to get it to work (trying things like SimpleDateFormat seemed to break the script but I may be doing it wrong).
