Tagging records Web 2.0-style
A colleague has asked me how best he should mark records of customers who are involved interested in certain areas or projects.
What I've done is to create a 'Tags' custom field, which is a multiple select field that anyone can add extra list tiems to. This seems to work ok, but what would be ideal is something like lots of Web 2.0 apps use where you start typing in a word and possibilities are suggested to you (not disimillar from what happens in the Global Search), then all selected tags are shown on the record.
Has anyone built anything like this, or found a better way of quickly marking records with a variety of bits of simple information?
