Getting Transaction Internal ID / TranID on client script
Hi,
I have a client script that needs to utilize a quote/estimate internal ID and number (tranid).
This is used during a process that email's notifications to a group of users and attaches the email to the quote.
This works great if the quote already exists, but for a new quote the ID does not yet exist.
Is there a way to obtain this information prior to save? I need the logic in the Client side script so I can provide alerts to the user to help them through the process.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
