How to inherit a free from text field to list field on another custom record.

Hi Dear all,

I have a question on Customization. I have created 2 custom recirds, i have a field called PIN Number on first records as type 'free from text'. This is for user to enter and save it

on the second record i have same field 'PIN Number' but suppose to be like drop down list so user can select his PIN from the list.

How do i make/inherit the PIN Number from the first custom record(free from text) to second custom record (as a list).

Please help me.
