Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

EMail Confirmation of Custom Record Submission
We are going to be operating an auction through a NetSuite custom record. Users will navigate to our custom record online form https://forms.netsuite.com/app/site/crm/externalcustrecordpage.nl?compid=915200&formid=15&h=a5d080175257318f7025 to submit a bid for a product. We have chosen to utilize a custom record as the medium for this project because we expect many (say, 15 to 20) bidders per product. As there will only be one winner (Customer) per product, we do not desire having all losing bidders in the system as Prospects--we do not expect future relationships with them.
The problem I am running into is emailing a confirmation of the custom record submission. This is not supported with standard NS functionality, and tech support suggested that I write a script for it. We have written Suite Script before, but in this instance I do not know even where to start...any help you can provide would be appreciated!
