Identifying Orders containing Drop Ship Items on a picking ticket
We occasionally have orders that we fulfill partially from our warehouse and then drop ship the items that we do not have. Sometimes, in error, our warehouse fulfills the entire order. I would like to find a better way to alert them that there are drop ship items on an order.
My thought is that there could be a way to use a custom field that recognizes that part of the order is drop shipped. Then, based on that field, return some custom text on a picking ticket that alerts the warehouse associate.
Any thoughts?
