HELP!!!Linking custom column field to entity record

Hi all

I have a question regarding linking a custom column field to a record.

As we use the Journal template to import the Expense Report, I created custom column called "Customer" which indicates the Customer we need to bill to.
(Custom column field "Customer", List/Record type, List: Customer, Applies to Journal)

Can we link "Customer" column in JE to the customer record so the amount will be shown in the customer record?
