Retrieving Client Side Suitelet Code
Hey Guys,
I'm trying to create a Suitelet that uses DHTML so that the user may dynamically add data in a client form. The issues I forsee is in retrieving this information. Although I knew it probably wasn't going to work, I tried using some NS API calls in the client script. Is there anyway this can be done easily without using Ajax?
function main(request, response) { if (request.getMethod() == 'GET') { var form = nlapiCreateForm('This is a test of DHTML'); var HTML = []; HTML.push('<html>'); HTML.push('<head>'); HTML.push('<script>function buttonScript(){var Telement = document.getElementById("practice");Telement.innerHTML = "Attempt to change text"; var url = nlapiResolveURL("SUITELET","customscript154","customdeploy1",null);url += "&foo=bar";var response = nlapiRequestURL(url);}</script>'); HTML.push('</head>'); HTML.push('<body>'); HTML.push('<p id="practice">This is the Text</p>'); HTML.push('<button type="button" onclick="buttonScript()">Add Item</button>'); HTML.push('</body>'); //var submitField = form.addButton('custpage_button', 'Add Item', buttonScript); var submitPage = form.addSubmitButton('Submit Form'); var htmlField = form.addField('custpage_html', 'inlinehtml'); htmlField.setDefaultValue(HTML); form.addButton('custpage_button', 'Add a new Line Item', 'buttonScript();'); response.writePage(form); } else { var form = nlapiCreateForm('Did the DHTML/DOM manipulation work?'); var field = form.addField('custpage_test', 'text', 'Input :'); var 0
