How to add a contact to a order / invoice, and pull the e-mail address from a search

Hello Everyone,

As the subject says, I want to add a custom field at the sales order level to carry over to the invoicing form.  I do not want this to print off to anything but this is to be used to run our surveys.

So the idea I thought was simple, I made a custom Transaction Body field, have it as a LIST / RECORD, and then pull from the customer.  This all works great, but when I go to run a search to pull transactions and also display this field, it only gives me the "CUSTOMER : CONTACT", which is not what I ultimately want to get.
