Forecast (budget) to Actual Trend?

We have a lot of items where we have a sales forecast- not the forecast NetSuite uses for actual plus opportunities- but a forecast based on what we think it will do over the year for both revenue and sales by item. or product.  We'd like to trend this out but I am unable to find any way to do this- has anyone else found a solution?
