Customer credit limit alert not working
We rely on Netsuites built in customer credit limit warning when a customer is selected on a transaction form (accounting preferences > accounts receivable > Customer Credit Limit Handling.
It used to work great, however (I'm not sure when) it only seems to work now if you have line items entered for the order AND THEN select the customer. So, it doesn't work if you create a new sales order and select a customer which is over their credit limit. It only works if you first add a line item so a sales order and then select the customer.
The warning / popup I'm referring to is the one that says Customer balance of xxx.xx exceeds credit limit of xx.xx
