Can I read the custom field record

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to read a custom field record via search or nlapiload record? Specifically for transaction body fields. We are going through a custom field cleanup and would be helpful to know the attributes of the custom field such as date created, created by etc that are not available on the custom field csv export.
