Custom Help not displaying

Hi,

We added a custom entity field.  I added help text in the appropriate box in the custom field form and saved it but the text does not display when the field is clicked on.  I just get the default "This is a custom field of type Check Box" message.  Can anyone think of what I might be missing?

Oh, now they show up.  Go figure.
