Help! Trying to Run Report by Cash Basis

I have some research I need to get done today and have to run some Sales Tax Liability by Tax Item reports using Cash Basis.  So I tried running the regular report and then went to Customization (Report Builer) and checked off the box for Cash Basis and then clicked Save...well the report it generated is exactly the same as the original report (by Accrual), so I must be doing something wrong or something else is going on...When I click Customize again after viewing that saved report the check box is no longer checked off so it doesn't look like the change I make is taking affect...
