Items in Categories

According to the release notes for v11.0.4:

[INDENT]To improve Web site performance, there is a new maximum of 25 published items per page and 200 items per category."[/INDENT]

We already have several categories with 50 items per page and more than 200 items per category. I have not noticed a change in how they appear  on the site. What, if anything, will happen to these pages on our site?
