Cannot create PO for commited items anymore

Hi,

Before the latest update, we could create a PO for any item we want in a Sales Order using the link provided for each item. Now those links only appear for the backordered items, and not for committed items. Is there an option to turn these links back on so we can create PO for any item we like?
