Where is this new "Last Purchase Price" field?

From the Help screen, it appears the new field called "Last Purchase Price" is supposed to be found on the Inventory subtab of the Item record.  However, I can't find it anywhere and there is very little help available.  Is there a flag I have to turn on somewhere first?  Thanks for any info.
