Customer lists exporting multiples/duplicates

edited Dec 13, 2019 11:44PM in General 4 comments

I export my customer list from netsuite to a spreadsheet on a regular basis, typically using the "items purchased" as a delimiter for selecting the customers.  I have used this technique for years with no problem.

Now, with the latest upgrade, when I search by items purchased by customer  it provides me with the correct answer on the results screen, say for example 4,987 unique customers [most likely with a 5% duplication rate in the list] purchased a particular face cream.  The screen reports the correct 4,987 customers and I can use the drop down to see the names, addresses, etc.

The flaw is in exporting, when I export this exact list of 4,987 names Netsuite exports 15,000 customer names, treating each time a unique customer purchased a specific product as a unique event.  i.e., I have Susie Smith listed  8 times as a record because she has bought the same item 2x per year for 4 years, even though she only has one customer record.

Howdy, Stranger!
