DB301 - Appalling Performance Issues

Is anyone else out there suffering from intermittent poor performance (speed) on NetSuite, particularly if you are on DB301?

NetSuite know there is an issue on this database and have done one hardware upgrade but this hasn't fixed the problem.

For months we have been suffering from lots of report time outs and occasional timings of 2-3 minutes to load a normal screen like 'Items'. 

Currently we cannot run any Income Statements or Balance Sheets other than in the background or it times out.  This means waiting about 5 mins to see the impact of a journal you have made - very efficient - not.
