Case Response Emails

Since we got the 2008.1 release, we have had a few customers bring to our attention that when they reply to a case, they receive an undeliverable email message. Their reply gets through and updates correctly on our end, but they still are getting the error message kicking back to them. Has anyone else experienced this or know what to do?
