Bruised and bleeding - Netsuite upgrade broke financials...
I've spent the past 6 hours trying to determine a problem with our financials, and everything I look at points to the Netsute 2008 upgrade being the culprit.
At the beginning of this year we added a custom field to our customer records called "Relationship". This is a field that is populated when a new lead is entered into our system, and stays with the record for it's lifetime. It is designed to help us segregate sales and financials by relationship types (dealer, contractor, consumer, etc.).
This field is automatically sourced to sales order, invoice and fulfillment transaction records. Using this field allows us to further break down our financials by each relationship type.
