Opportunities (Quick Add) from dashboard

has anybody managed to get this working in the new version as mine is still playing dead, same as in all older versions?

Simply have the "Opportunities" as a list on your dashboard and the little box that shows "Quick Add" takes longer than opening up the 'Opportunities" page and adding "New"......in fact you could wait all day and the status doesn't change.....never has.

Thought somebody may have the secret and be kind enough to share
