Cannot add Non-Inventory items to Sales Orders using Scripts

Another 2009.2 bug, using scripts I cannot add non-inventory items to transactions using scripts. Error is 'INVALID_KEY_OR_REF' however it worked in previous editions, and the item is definately valid.
