Beta announcement? PDF Release notes?

It's starting to feel a bit eerie around here.  We've got access to the beta, but no announcement from NS or PDF release notes seems a bit odd.  The new features portlet never changed from the announcement a week ago, so I'm wondering if there's a break down in NS' new notifications program.

NS, is there a set of announcements that we're missing out on?  I've got all the admin notifications set up.
