Check number no longer autofilling when creating checks

Hello,

Since the upgrade last Friday, our checks will not autofill the next number when we're creating checks; it shows up as "null" in the check number area.

Is there a box or setting that might have become unchecked, that now needs to be checkmarked somewhere?
