Sitebuilder - resources showing gzip
We use a few web store performance tools. Google page insights is one of them. Before release 2014.1 google reported that our JS and css files needed to be gzipped. Now it shows that they are gzipped.
Before I became excited I tested the encoding using firefox and chrome. Both show the resources being sent without gzipping.
Why is NetSuite following best practices by gzipping files when google requests them but not when a 'regular' browser requests them?
Thanks,
Luke
p.s. I would love to see NetSuite actually using gzip for file cabinet resources.
